Another story told through the guise of comics.
You can read my thoughts on it here
It’s all over. Loved reading this!
i’ll miss this so much T_T
shame it’s over, but thanks for all the comics! I’ve enjoyed each and every one of them!
I had a ton of fun reading that ! well done !
The real game starts in NG+ you need to playthrough again for the better ending
now, let’s try demon’s souls…
You forgot ng+
Just go back to the first comic and pretend its NG+ and I’m consciously being oblivious to a game I’ve already played.
Thank you wery much for these comics
This was definitely my new favorite comic strip. Too bad it’s come to an end! You’ll have to start again when Dark Souls 2 comes out!
In the end, I enjoyed your comic very much! I hope you will do a
Dark Souls II comic, too–but BLIND! No internet directions! More reals, yu no?
Thanks for giving it another shot!
I’ve no idea if I’m going to do ANY Dark Souls 2 comics, but I refuse to promise doing it blind.
You sound quite adamant…I think you are confusing a hopeful request with an oppressive demand?
There are a few semi-serialized comic versions of Dark Souls playthroughs floating around the web, but most of them are written to exploit notorious bugs/frustrations and lore observations that would only be known [to the extent they are in the comics] through research or finishing the game in advance. Yours is by far the best of the bunch, and I’m not accusing you of inauthenticity, but I think it would be interesting to read a serialized parody based entirely on unspoiled observation alone. I assumed the point was to get inside your head a little as you explored, anyway.
Either way, we all love your comic and hope your tragically enthusiastic avatar Goes Beyond Death in the near future
Sorry, I just got that a lot… When realistically I don’t think I would’ve done the comics at all if I didn’t get anywhere as fast and ably as I did. I beat the game in 3 weeks after all, but really, no amount of handholding would’ve actually beat the game for me. I was just good at it to a certain point.
That point of view was also to try and make it easier for outside audiences to read. So they don’t take my confusion for granted and assume they don’t understand what’s happening altogether.
But that happens for some people ANYWAY so bah humbug.
Hahaha, most of us were confused the entire game! I see your point. Context is necessary for a cohesive narrative. On the other hand, three or four comics of the character wandering (and fleeing) Lordran in hopeless/hysterical confusion could easily end on the same note as The Simpsons Tree House of Horror V*–only massacring all the NPC’s, not primordial animals. “WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GO?!?!?!” (LOL!)
*(THoHV: “Time and Punishment”–while trying to fix the toaster, Homer repeatedly time-travels back to prehistoric times, failing to overcome impulses not touch anything each time and drastically altering the present for the worse. Finally he just goes on a rampage and the next time he is zapped back to the present everything is *almost* normal again)
Cheers for a great web comic. Now off to buy your book, you handsome devil.
I love this comic, it’s hilarious. Come back with Demon’s Souls or DaS2!
Wonderful comic. Good job!
what a wonderful comic you should do one about demons souls or Dark souls 2 after it releases
